The Council of Engineers Thailand (COET) and the Accreditation Board for Engineering Education of Korea (ABEEK) signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) on Thursday, July 25, 2024, in Bangkok, Thailand, to advance engineering education and foster mutual cooperation.

This agreement aims to maximize the strengths of both organizations and contribute to their mutual development.
The specific areas of collaboration are as follows:
- Strengthen mutual recognition of accredited programs to facilitate collaboration between Signatories.
- Emphasize the global mobility benefits of accredited programs by increasing the exchange of students and faculty from accredited programs between Signatories.
- Facilitate the development of common curricular or extra-curricular programs to enhance the exchange of students from accredited programs between Signatories.
- Collaborate in supporting the goals of fostering sustainable national and international quality assurance systems between Signatories.
Through this agreement, COET and ABEEK aim to promote innovation and development in the field of engineering education, contributing to the cultivation of excellent talent and the activation of research.
