The Network of Accreditation Bodies for Engineering Education in Asia (NABEEA) was established in August 2007 to strengthen collaborative relationships within the Asian region, address cooperation with other regions such as Europe and English-speaking countries, ensure equivalency in engineering education across Asia, and contribute to the advancement of engineering accreditation systems in the region. The Accreditation Board for Engineering Education of Korea (ABEEK), along with accreditation bodies from Japan, Taiwan, Singapore, and Malaysia, forms the council responsible for the practical operation of NABEEA. The council develops NABEEA’s regulations and procedures and supports member organizations in joining the Washington Accord.
